Automation Engineer

Tenneplas is currently seeking an Automation Engineer located in Pulaski, Tennessee. Tenneplas is a Tier 1 supplier of injected molded components to the Original Equipment Manufacturer. We offer competitive wages, benefits package, and 401k plan.
Duties and Responsibilities of an Automation Engineer:
The Automation Engineer is responsible for delivering new programs and changes to existing programs onto the production floor. The delivery will follow lean manufacturing principles and have proven reliable processes that the production floor can execute against to deliver ongoing cost-effective quality products to the customer.
The candidate will be an active participant in APQP.
Interfaces with Program managers following the APQP format, supporting the development of FMEA's, control Plans, developing process potentials and capabilities.
Develop lean manufacturing systems and processes for new launches
Support all new launches until they have achieved their required delivery performance.
Develop error proofing and quality systems for new launches.
Maintains a "Hands-on" approach with all employees during launches to ensure shorter product learning curve.
Provide technical direction and coordination for cost save initiatives.
Support production floor with expertise and improvements as required.
Develop work instructions for all new launches and changes to existing programs.
Lead efforts to improve and design station layouts that lead towards the plant goal of one-piece flow and lean manufacturing.
Problem solving capabilities is a must as the candidate will have the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully;develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations, as well as must possess technical skills - pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills.
Education and Experience Required:
Engineering degree (preferred) or minimally having an associates degree and/or automation certificate.
Minimum 2 years experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
