Manufacturing Process Engineer


Large automotive manufacturing company is seeking a skilled manufacturing process engineer with Injection Molding Expertise.

MAIN
Responsibilities:
oProvide injection molding technical support to the Pre-production area.
oImprove scrap and efficiency's in the preproduction area.
oControl and develop molding machine process parameters.
oIntroduce new product injection molding tooling.
oPerform DOE in order to optimize processes with tooling on tool modifications for process improvements.
oComplete new tool design reviews.
oProvide support in the tooling activities
oParticipate in New product tooling tryouts.
oSelection of all new molding machines and auxiliaries
oControl tool data and process management
oInterface and manage tool and process sign off in the operating plant.
oProvide VAVE activities
oLiaison with material suppliers.
oComply with the quality and environment standards procedures and instructions (those applicable)
oAll those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area. Environmental Management System: Use and handling of hazardous substances. Handling of hazardous wastes.

EDUCATION:
oCompleted technical career

REQUIRMENTS/SKILLS:
oMinimum of 5 years experience (Manufacturing Process Engineer and Injection Molding)
oInjection Molding expertise
oKnowledge of Engel, Negri Bossi & Demag machines
oPlastic material knowledge PC & PBT
oTooling knowledge
oProject management skills
oQuality and environmental systems
oHandling chemical substances and hazardous wastes
oSpilled substances control
oHandling of equipment against fire
oFull knowledge of mechanics, print interpretation and geometric tolerances

Monday - Friday (40
wk)
2nd - 3rd shift availabilities
Salary: $70 - $80k (DOE)
Must be available to interview and start immediately.
