Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and provide support with accounting and finance activities
Focus on product costing, bill of materials, and inventory valuation
Development and control of standard and actual cost
Creation of new product costs
Analysis of allowance for Lower of Cost or Market
Analysis and control of product profitability vs. standard
Analysis check and control of obsolete and excess material
Team member on World Class Manufacturing pillar(s)
Electronic filing and maintenance of documentation generated
All activities generated due to changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of applicable areas
Other accounting and finance activities as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Cost analysis
Budgets
Key Performance Indicators
Problem solving techniques
Customer service oriented
Interest in manufacturing plant process flows, equipment and efficiency improvement opportunities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment
Excellent communication and time management skills
College Degree
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with SAP software preferred
1 year minimum cost accounting / analysis experience preferred
English 70% (written and spoken)
Experience with Continuous Improvement Programs (Six Sigma, TQM, WCM) a plus
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
