Education Requirements > Prefer High school diploma or GED > Capable of basic math skills Experience Requirements > Prefer two years progressive die experience > Prefer tow motor experience > Capable of using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauging, etc)
Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities
> Operate press or other equipment as instructed
> Keep all safety curtain/guards in place during operation
> Set-up all dies and auxiliary equipment
> Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for quality
> Follow operator instructions on inspection instruction sheets
> Change coils and other material handling duties as required
> Fill in all reports properly and completely
> Maintain good housekeeping around presses
> Report all quality, production or safety problems to the production manager
> Maintain all tools in proper places
> Keep die set-up sheets up to date
> Operate fork trucks as required
> Available for training as required
> Available for overtime as required
> Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan & Performance Award Program)
> Re-work parts as per instructions
> Preventative maintenance as instructed
> Conduct basic maintenance on equipment
> Complete PMA training courses
> Good communications skills
> Capable of lifting 50 pounds

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
